How to buy a Facebook BM or ad account safely
Updated 15 October 2026
Most accounts that go back to the seller are not lost at the moment of sale. They are taken back after the buyer confirms, through access the seller quietly kept. The checking time in an escrow deal exists so you can close every one of those doors first.
The order that matters
- Take control: add yourself as an admin with your own email and your own profile.
- Cut the seller off: remove their people, partners and system users.
- Check that they are really cut off. This is the step most people skip, and it is the whole point.
- Only then confirm receipt in the deal.
Three backdoors that look closed
- Meta, the Partners tab. The seller removes themselves from People and the list looks clean, but their own business manager stays attached as a partner with full access. Check Business settings → Partners.
- Meta, system users. Access through a token survives removing every person. Delete the system users you did not create.
- Google Ads, linked manager accounts. Someone else's MCC can sit above yours and manage it from the top; it does not appear among users. Check the linked manager accounts.
- TikTok Business Center uses the same partner mechanism as Meta: check partners there too.
Two things almost everyone gets wrong
- Two-factor authentication: remove it and set it up again. Otherwise the seller's authenticator and backup codes keep working.
- Changing the password does not end sessions that are already open. Use “log out of all devices” separately.
Record the first login
Record your screen from the first login through every check. If something is wrong, attach the original recording to a dispute: a copy forwarded through a messenger is recompressed and no longer matches the original.
You have one day to check after the seller marks the handover, or three days for deals from 1,000 USDT. If access does not work as described, open a dispute before the time runs out: the automatic payout stops while the dispute is open.
What escrow covers, and what it does not
The seller answers for the item at the moment of handover: the access works and the item matches the description — type, limits, age, no undisclosed restrictions. A ban, a limit or a review that arrives after you confirmed is the risk of whoever holds the account. No honest marketplace can promise protection from bans, and Ads.Deals does not.

Questions
How long do I have to check the account?
One day after the seller marks the handover, or three days for deals from 1,000 USDT. The countdown is on the deal page.
What if the seller refuses to remove a partner?
Do not confirm. Open a dispute and attach screenshots or the recording: the payout is frozen while the dispute is open.
Can the seller take the account back after I confirm?
Only through access you left open. That is why checking that the seller is cut off comes before the confirmation, not after it.
