How to choose a supplier of ad accounts

Updated 15 October 2026

Star ratings and screenshots of happy customers are cheap to produce. A record of completed escrow deals with many different people is not — and that is the record a seller card on Ads.Deals shows.

What the seller card shows

  • Completed deals, counted only when the money actually went through the contract
  • Different counterparties: ten deals with ten people say more than ten deals with one friend
  • The month of the first completed deal: age cannot be bought after the fact
  • Disputes, and how many of them were decided against the seller
  • When the seller was last online and how fast they usually reply in deal chats

Why this record is hard to fake

Every completed deal costs a commission and needs a separate person on the other side. A fake review costs a few cents; a fake point of reputation costs a commission and a new counterparty every single time. Reply time is measured from real deal chats, not from what the seller says about themselves.

Red flags

  • Asking to pay outside escrow “to save the fee”: the fee is the price of not trusting a stranger
  • Pushing the conversation to another messenger: contacts are removed from listings on purpose, so the handover happens in the deal chat the arbiter can read
  • A price far below the rest of the shelf with no explanation
  • Refusing to let you remove partners or reset two-factor authentication before you confirm

What exactly to check before confirming is in the acceptance checklist.

A new seller is not a red flag by itself

Everyone starts at zero. With escrow your money waits in the contract either way, and if the seller never hands the item over, you get it all back. Start with a smaller order, check everything during the checking time, and let the record grow from there.

Each seller has a showcase with all their offers and their full record: open the seller line on any listing, or browse the shelves from the marketplace overview.

Questions

Where do I see a seller's full record?

On their showcase: tap the seller line on any of their listings.

What does “usually replies within an hour” mean?

It is the median time the seller took to answer in deal chats over the last 90 days. It appears only after at least three replies.

Are disputes a bad sign?

Not by themselves. Look at how many were decided against the seller: three disputes won and three lost describe very different sellers.
